Daniel Baranski Saw and heard it on YT then for some days in my mind until i have it now. This song is a perfect example that songs or cooperations of Scandroid hit the right spot in me.

rhenry01 Essenger hit the bullseye with this dart. It is the musical definition of Cyberpunk. The execution is sonically beautiful which is a stark contrast to the dark subject matter portrayed. Easy to listen to but very, very hard to forget.

Jensen Another great album, well worth buying to add to a growing collection for the radio show I broadcast.

Through your corporate palisade
You won't automate our roles

I’m counting down the days The future feels so distant A lot of things have changed And few have been resistant Devaluation reigns And fear of self destruction Adapt or be replaced And follow their instructions So lay waste to all we've made For your corporate palisade You won't automate our roles If we digitize our souls A new force will intervene Half human, half machine And no enterprise on earth will make us kneel To your empire of steel Recoded we'll reboot An uprising is moving And the power you misused Will soon be your undoing We’ll give you what you need Though not quite what you were meaning And we’ll reap what you have sown We are the soul of this new machine So lay waste to all we've made For your corporate palisade You won't automate our roles If we digitize our souls A new force will intervene Half human, half machine And no enterprise on earth will make us kneel To your empire of steel Recoded we'll reboot An uprising is moving The power you misused Will soon be your undoing We’ll give you what you need Though not quite what you were meaning And we’ll reap what you have sown We are the soul of this new machine So lay waste to all we've made For your corporate palisade You won't automate our roles If we digitize our souls A new force will intervene Half human, half machine And no enterprise on earth will make us kneel To your empire of steel To your empire We’ll give you what you need (To your empire) And we’ll reap what you have sown (To your empire) So lay waste to all we've made For your corporate palisade You won't automate our roles If we digitize our souls A new force will intervene Half human, half machine And no enterprise on earth will make us kneel To your empire of steel To your empire of steel To your empire of steel

about

Essenger and Scandroid join forces in a formidable arsenal of vocoder and rock guitar. Reminiscent of early 80s synth pop with a modern cyberpunk edge, Empire of Steel explores the exploitation of AI by a dystopian mega-corporation. Could merging with the machines be the key to restoring balance?

"Empire of Steel" is the final single released in advance of Essenger’s highly-anticipated new album, After Dark. The new song is available as an instant-grat for fans who purchase the full album, and it’s out on all major streaming platforms now from independent synthwave label FiXT Neon
